Sensory Garden

After a number of months of student consultation and planning, work on the school’s new Sensory Garden will begin over the half term break.

The project is the result of a bid to Tesco’s Bags for Help scheme which has provided money for the area to be turned into a purposeful outdoor learning space. Head Boy, Joe McBride, and Sodexo school grounds employee Andy Henry (both pictured) have played an active part in the project, including supporting the writing of the bid, working on the designs and liaising with the contractors. Joe Said, “To finally see all of the many months of planning being put into action is very exciting. I feel very proud to have been part of this project and hope that the new space will be a great addition to the many students who will benefit”.
