Results days in school
As in previous years all external examination results will be available for collection from school. This year the results days are scheduled for the following dates/times:
Thursday 18th August 2016
- A2 examination results for Year 13 students from 10.00am
- AS examination results for Year 12 students from 10.30am
Thursday 25th August 2016
- GCSE examination results for Year 11 students from 10.00am
Results by e-mail
Results will also be e-mailed to students’ school email addresses.
- Year 13 students’ results will be emailed from 8am on results day in order to help them with the UCAS process.
- Years 8 to 12 students’ results will be emailed from midday on the relevant results day
Collection of results by a friend or relative
For those students, in Years 11, 12 and 13, who don’t have access to a computer, and are unable to come into school themselves, arrangements can be made for their examination results to be collected by a nominated person, on their behalf. In this instance, students must see the Examinations Officer with a letter of authorisation before the end of the summer term, to authorise collection. The nominee will need to bring in a form of photo identification when they come in to collect the results. We anticipate that for most students the results by email service will be a more efficient means of obtaining results.
Results by post for all year groups
Students in any year group may leave a stamped addressed envelope with the Examinations Officer and their results will be posted out on results day.
Students in Years 8, 9 and 10
Unfortunately examination results for students in Years 8, 9 and 10 will not be available for collection in person on results day, but will be given to form tutors for distribution on the first day of term. This is because we need to prioritise the needs of Year 11 students on this day. These students will receive their results through email on results day.
