Wilmslow High School’s online Open Evening – October 2021 (update 30.09.21)

As was noted in a previous website notice, we are continuing to implement a number of on-site Covid-19 mitigation measures to minimise the risk of in-school Covid transmission.  You may also be aware that a new £12 million pound building project started on the school site this summer, which has substantially reduced the availability of parking spaces.

For these two reasons, we have taken the decision not to offer an on-site Open Evening at Wilmslow High School this October.  Instead, as was the case last year, we will be publishing a comprehensive page of useful video and written information resources on our website for prospective parents / carers to view from Monday October 11th.  We will inform our feeder primary schools when this page goes live.

We have received a number of enquiries from prospective parents asking if there will be any opportunities to take a tour of the school in the next few weeks.  Because of the rising level of Covid infections in the local community, we will not be offering an Open Day or any Open Morning sessions this term, though we do hope to be able to offer some ‘familiarisation’ opportunities for parents and carers after the Easter break.
