Year 11 Girls into the Cheshire Cup Semi-Final

The Year 11 Girls’ Football Team secured an impressive 5–0 victory over Weaverham in the quarter-final of the Cheshire Cup. Goals came from Lucy Hesford (2), Ava Gardner (2), and India Rankin in a dominant team performance.

Weaverham proved to be our toughest opponents so far, but the girls remained organised and disciplined in their own third, while showing real quality and composure in the final third. Every player played excellently and thoroughly deserved the win, especially in the wet and muddy conditions.

The girls now look ahead to a semi-final away fixture against either The Heath School or St Gregory’s High School.
