G&T Spotlight
From Wilmslow to international athletics.
Former student Thea Brown has represented Great Britain in athletics and captained England at the Junior Commonwealth Games in Trinidad and Tobago.
Her achievements across multiple athletics disciplines reflect years of dedication and hard work. We are proud to celebrate her journey as part of our G&T Sport programme.

02 / Student leadership
Your Voice. Your Sport. Your Wellbeing.
PULSE gives students the opportunity to shape PE, sport and wellbeing at Wilmslow High School. It is about ideas, initiative and helping others take part—not being the best athlete.
Represent student views, champion inclusion and turn ideas into opportunities for more people to be active.
Help organise Power Leagues, competitions and events, developing coaching, officiating and leadership skills.
Celebrate sporting success, promote wellbeing and create digital content that encourages others to get involved.
Student-led. Staff-supported. Mrs Nicholls, Teacher of PE, supports the team as students develop their ideas, confidence and practical leadership skills.
03 / Beyond the school day
More opportunities. Stronger connections.
We are developing partnerships with local sports clubs to help students find safe, welcoming and enjoyable opportunities beyond school.
Before recommending a club or establishing a formal partnership, we will review its safeguarding, coaching and management arrangements.
Our network is developing. Recommended partner clubs will be published here as the programme develops.
