U13 netball: Winning start to SIS Cup campaign
Wilmslow High School’s U13 netball team opened their SIS Cup campaign with a hard-fought 37–31 victory against Kings High School on Tuesday 13 October.
Following their success as Shield champions last year, the girls faced a strong, well-drilled opposition with quality players across the court.
The team rose to the challenge, showing determination, teamwork and composure throughout. They battled until the final whistle and produced some outstanding netball to secure a six-goal victory.
Isabella Marcucci was named Opposition Player of the Match.
A brilliant start to the competition and a performance the whole team can be proud of!
