Sandbach School 35–20 Wilmslow
Our U14 boys’ rugby team showed determination and attacking intent in a competitive SSM Cup match against Sandbach School, but missed opportunities contributed to a 35–20 defeat.
Max Crellin opened the scoring for Wilmslow, with Oscar Dale and George Marks also crossing the line. George finished with two tries, including a superb solo effort in which his chip-and-chase beat the full-back.
Although the result went Sandbach’s way, Wilmslow took plenty of positives from a hard-fought contest.
Player of the Match: George Marks, whose strong performance was capped by his outstanding second try.
