Hockey Update – A Weekend of Determination and Team Spirit!

A huge congratulations to our U12 boys, who braved freezing conditions at the In2Hockey Tournament at Birkenhead School and delivered an outstanding unbeaten performance! Winning five games and drawing one, they lifted the tournament trophy in style.

Goals flowed from George Marks, Lewis Cheshworth and Thomas Riley, while Eithan McGrail made a series of superb saves — earning him the well-deserved title of Player of the Tournament. A fantastic team effort and a brilliant example of “Do More” in action! 🏆

Our senior side faced a competitive fixture against Kings Chester, narrowly losing 2–0. Despite the result, the team showed great determination throughout. A special mention to Amelia Khan (GK), whose outstanding performance and crucial saves earned her Player of the Match.

Meanwhile, our U12 girls impressed at the In2Hockey Tournament at Timperley Sports Club, finishing a well-earned mid-table. The team demonstrated excellent teamwork, resilience and skill against strong opposition — defending with determination and attacking with confidence.

Congratulations to Naomie White, named Player of the Tournament for her fantastic goalkeeping. A performance to be proud of! 👏

Well done to all our players and staff — a brilliant display of teamwork, resilience and PRIDE across the board.
