A whole-school commitment

Careers learning, from Year 7 to Year 13

Careers education at Wilmslow is part of a whole education. Through Personal Development lessons, subject learning, encounters with employers and providers, work experience and individual guidance, students build the knowledge and confidence to make thoughtful choices.

We support students to consider academic, technical and vocational routes impartially, and to understand that there is more than one way to reach a fulfilling future.

“To provide an ambitious careers programme that prepares and supports all of our students for the world of work, enabling all of them to achieve aspirational career outcomes and have the confidence to flourish in an ever-changing careers landscape.”Our careers vision
