Mr Duffy heads to the Cricket World Cup with England!
Our very own Mr Duffy is heading to Guyana to represent England at the Over 40s Cricket World Cup — and everyone at Wilmslow High School will be cheering him on!
James Duffy, a hard-hitting top-order batter with Lindow Cricket Club, has scored more than 20,000 career runs at an average of 44.17, including 13 centuries.
His performances for England Over 40s in 2025 were equally impressive: 322 runs in six matches at an average of 80.50, with three half-centuries and a highest score of 89.
The tournament takes place in Georgetown, Guyana, from 17–31 October 2026.
Congratulations on this fantastic achievement, Mr Duffy. Wishing you and the England squad every success!
