At Wilmslow High School, we believe our students should have a voice in shaping the future of PE, sport and wellbeing. That’s why we have created PULSE – a new student leadership team dedicated to making a positive difference across our school.
PULSE brings together students who are passionate about sport, wellbeing, inclusion and leadership. Working alongside Mrs Nicholls, our PULSE members will listen to student ideas, turn them into action and help create more opportunities for everyone to get involved.
Throughout the year, students will develop valuable leadership skills through training and real-life experiences, including coaching, officiating, event management, communication and digital media. They will have opportunities to lead competitions, support events, coach younger pupils, promote wellbeing and celebrate sporting success across the school.
PULSE stands for Participation, Unity, Leadership, Sport and Empowerment – reflecting our ambition to ensure every student feels included, represented and inspired to be active.
We are incredibly proud of our PULSE team and excited to see the ideas, energy and leadership they bring to Wilmslow High School.
Welcome to PULSE – where students listen, lead and inspire
