Parent Partners

The Parent Partners Group is a conduit between businesses, community groups and families. School budgets are being ‘squeezed’ and our aim is to provide the ‘added extras’ to the students; the things that make the school an even better place to be for students.

We know that what works for primary school PTAs, does not necessarily work for a secondary school, particularly one the scale of WHS, so we don’t want to raise money baking cakes or having school fairs, because we know that people don’t have the time to get involved…but, we still need your help and we still need your money.

Donations

Rather than just asking for donations, we ask if you can donate money (quickly and easily via ParentPay) to, or sponsor specific items that will benefit students’ school experience. This is on top of smaller projects that are ongoing throughout the year such as the weekly lottery draw. Please buy a ticket in our weekly Lottery draw (only a £1 a week) by going to yourschoollottery.co.uk.

We know that with the cost-of-living challenge, things are tight for a lot of people in our community, but any donation however small goes directly to improving students’ experience at WHS, so please help by donating towards, or sponsoring an item, if you are able to.
